I just found out after 71 years our famous Hotdog Stand is closing. Last day is Saturday Dec 30, 2023. I'm so sad to hear about our iconic stand that we have grown to love and enjoy eating the best 🌭 hotdogs in town. It is going to be missed dearly. 😢😢 Go get your hotdogs before they go.
If you need a great chili dog, this is THE place to visit. The customer service here will remind you of home! Great food, great bang for your buck, and very friendly staff. If you live in Central Texas or just passing through, this place is worth a visit.

The Chili Dog Stand is not only nostalgic but serves incredible Chili Dog's, and their other menu items are excellent as well! Staff is always friendly with extremely fair prices. Customer service is above reproach and every time I go, I am taken back to simpler times when family, great food, and good times, always seemed to fit perfectly.

This is a delightful little stand in an awkward location. I've been coming here for several years and it's always the same lady taking my order. She's always so pleasant. The food is great! The chili is something special. They do one thing and they do it very well. Chili dogs and Frito pies.
After years of enjoyment, the love affair continues. The best chili dogs around. The hotdog doesn't taste like bologna and the chili has never given me heartburn. Every time I'm in San Marcos, I can't resist the temptation. Customer service is great too.

OMG! Try their beef tacos!!! I first came for the delicious chili dogs and for fun last time I came here I tried a shreaded beef toco and became addicted.
Have been going here for years!! Never a bad experience. From one, to fifty dogs. They can accommodate. Great place!!
